Sigmund Family Memorial
Esther Souget

From the new school year in September 1941, Jewish children were no longer allowed to attend public schools. When school was also banned, Lotte joined a small class with five girls that had been founded by Mrs. Souget, mother of Esther Souget, who was also in the class. Renate Herz, Lia Workum, and Olga (Ollie) Roos were also in that class. Esther and Ollie survived the war.
