In this class photo, Marijke van Benthem Jutting is sitting in the front row in the middle. She has long braids with white bows in them, is the only girl kneeling, and has her left hand on her left thigh. Marijke was a classmate of Lotte during the years she lived and went to school in Bussum. Marijke wrote in Lotte's Poetry album and vice versa; Lotte wrote in Marijke's.
It is therefore quite possible that Lotte is somewhere in this photo.
